Amanda Casanova, RPT
Registered Piano Technician
I’ve had a lifelong passion for pianos, a love for working with my hands, have a keen artistic eye, and a background in applied physics—ultimately leading me to a career that brings all four together.
I’m committed to ongoing education and continual growth in my craft. I completed the Master Course on Grand Piano Action at the Renner Academy, along with attending annual PTG Annual Convention & Technical Institute conferences each year to stay at the forefront of the field.
A member of Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) since 2009 and the active President of the Twin Cities PTG Chapter, I remain actively involved in the professional community. I continually refine my expertise and expand the level of service I provide to my clients.
I also bring a strong eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the visual craftsmanship of each instrument. I’ve advanced my skills in high-gloss polyester finish repair through Allied Piano and Finish, and completed lacquer touch-up training with Mohawk’s WoodTouchUp and Repair Workshop.
Finish repair is both an art and a challenge—demanding precision, patience, and a careful attention to detail. I take pride in restoring damaged surfaces and achieving results that are as seamless and unobtrusive as possible.
